Northgate Community Services Trust
The Northgate Community Services Trust is the community arm of Northcity
Church. It was established in 2003 to provide an avenue for practical
Christian service in our community particularly to families in need,
unemployed persons, widows, widowers, youth, the aged, the disabled, solo
parents, the sick and others who are unable to maintain a reasonable
standard of living.
The trust provides various services such as a fully stocked op-shop,
Adult Literacy Classes, Simply Cooking (cooking course), Papanui Community
Health Clinic (run in conjunction with Belfast North Mediqual Doctors),
Cervical Screening (in conjunction with He Waka Tapu), exercise class and
walking group, Mainly Music, Careforce Recovery, a community youth worker,
dance workshops and youth programmes.
